Several of my friends, family and I have received job offers on WhatsApp that are a complete scam, and this has probably happened to you too. Cybercriminals use the names of large companies to offer virtual jobs that don't really exist, in order to steal your data or take your money.

Temu: scams with different characteristics were identified. Two cases of false job offers have been observed with this company: the supposed recruiter who asks for an initial payment of money from the victim. The other scam also arrives as a message from a supposed “recruiter”, but this contains the link to a platform to start working.
Shein: the online sales platform present in 150 countries around the world is also used to carry out scams with a well-known WhatsApp Number Database formula: part-time work and high earnings. As is usual in these scams, the system of supposed rewards for commissions is present again. This time, under the promise of working for Shein.
The scam seeks to generate interest with a supposed part-time job on Google Maps. It promises easy money from a mobile device, by spending just a few minutes a day. They also steal your personal data when you follow the steps indicated.
Two examples of scam job offers were identified under the name of this company. One where the scammer poses as the well-known job recruiter, with the promise of a simple job that will bring substantial earnings. The other is where the victim is merely a decoy to spread a supposed job offer to increase “celebrity” social media views.
